2nd National Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development - ESD to 2030

The structure of the strategy is aligned with UNESCO’s Framework for ESD for 2030 and includes five key priority action areas: Advancing Policy, Transforming Learning Environments, Building Capacities of Educators, Empowering and Mobilising Young People, Accelerating Local Level Actions.

Looking at Our School is a framework document that provides a shared understanding on practices in the Irish school system.

The School Sector Climate Action Mandate supports schools to develop a School Sustainability Policy and enhance their whole school ESD engagement.
